The NEMOLAND jury is proud to announce the name of the first guest of the 12th edition which will take place on 1st and 2nd April 2016 with an edition dedicated to Japanese animation and the world of special effects that have made the history of this art.
Maestro Masami Suda, is the 2016 NEMOLAND LEGEND award for the incredible career and importance of the work done as a character designer and animator.
Considered a true legend of Japanese animation cinema, Suda + known worldwide for having created the animated series of Ken the warrior (北斗の拳 Hokuto no Ken)

Master Masami Suda also participated in some of the most famous Japanese animation TV series Mach Go Go Go of 1967, known as Speed Racer where he held the role of animator and designer; the three series of Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman (Ninja Gatchaman Tech Team); Uchu No Kishi Tekkaman (Tekkaman, the Space Knight) from 1975.

NEMOLAND 2016 will take place on 1 and 2 April 2016 in the prestigious setting of the Odeon Hall in Florence, with an edition dedicated to Japanese animation and the world of special effects that have made the history of this art.
Over 500 students from the art schools will be present for the two days of workshops organized again this year by the NEMO Academy of Florence.
